I am listening to the 3rd cut on disc 1 as I write (”Paradigm”). I gotta try to stop movin’ as I type. I’m not in love wit everything on this effort, but I ain’t supposed to. The bottom line is, “Let the shakin’ begin.” The 1st 3 cuts grabbed me like…like…like…THAT !!! As I moved thru the rest of it, I was caught in replay mode over and over again! I had bought the cd for my brother for Xmas, but he’d pissed me off, so I gave it to one of my Funkateer brothers at work. (I’m in the fire department _ we party hardy.) As U can tell, I like to free-associate. I flow like the FUNK. “I Can Dance” - wit dat “Nappy Dugout” thang just ruined me for about 3 days! Da boys and girls on this double cd set do the history of the Parlafunkadelicment Thang proud. Eddie and Glenn and all the rest who’ve passed to the other side are proud o’ y’all!!! Keep it comin’!!
